Rules
1. Players of the Raffle must reside in Alberta, Canada and be 18 years of age or older.
2. Tickets can be purchased with a major credit card, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit. Cards used for payment must have an Alberta address.
3. Tickets to the Wine Auction raffle** will only be available online through Greater Giving, Limited quantities of tickets are available. However, there is no limit as to how many tickets a single individual can purchase.
4. Tickets will be solid in the following packages: **
- 1 ticket for $10 *526 tickets available
- 3 tickets for $20 *561 tickets available
- 10 tickets for $50 *1000 tickets available
- 25 tickets for $100 *1500 tickets available
5. Ticket sales will end on Nov. 18, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. with the draw taking place at Lethbridge College on Nov. 19, 2021.
6. Raffle tickets purchased cannot be gifted to another individual, as the purchaser’s name will be on the ticket. However, the prize package may be transferred to another individual after the draw occurs.
7. The winner will receive:
- Two lower-level seats to watch the Miami Heat take on the Toronto Raptors on Jan. 17, 2022 in sunny Miami, Florida*
- A $1,500 WestJet voucher**
- A two-night hotel stay in Miami***
- Dinner for two in the North Lounge in the FTX arena prior to the game
- All the Heat swag you’ll need: two Kyle Lowry jerseys, two Miami Heat t-shirts and two Miami Heat tumblers
- And a parking pass at the FTX arena
8. The winner will be determined and selected by a random draw utilizing a random number generator.
9. A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw. An email confirmation with your ticket numbers will be sent to the email provided after purchase. **
10. The winner will be contacted by phone and email.
11. By playing you consent to having your name and winning numbers published. The names and photographs of the winner may be published on Lethbridge College's social media, website and around campus.
12. The person(s) drawing the winning number must not hold a ticket for that draw. Volunteers, employees, family, and community members not involved in the draw are eligible to participate.
13. The personal information you provide to Lethbridge College is collected under the authority of Section 33(c) of the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act and is managed in accordance with Part 2 of the FOIP Act. Your personal information will be used to create, update and maintain donor records, as well as to contact you about future fundraising campaigns and for uses consistent with these purposes. Your personal information will not be used or disclosed for any other purpose without your express permission unless required or permitted by law. 14. All raffle ticket purchases are final, and refunds are not available.
15. Grand Prize Winners. At approximately 10 a.m. (MST) on Nov. 19, 2021, in Lethbridge, Alta., a computerized random draw will be conducted from the total entries received during the contest period. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received. The Grand prize shall be awarded to the first selected eligible entrant whose name is randomly selected from all valid entries.
* The winner is responsible for any additional costs incurred before, during or after the Miami Heat Experience.
** The decision to travel is the winner’s choice. We encourage the winner to travel responsibly and follow the guidelines set out by the Government of Canada and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and to stay informed of COVID-19 testing and travel requirements.
***Winners will be provided with the monetary value of two nights stay in Miami at the Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown Brickell-Port Of Miami. Room selection is based on availability; if necessary, a comparable hotel can be selected.

- Notice that tickets must only be purchased or sold within Alberta: The Ready to Feel the Heat raffle is open to alumni, students, employees, and the community at large. Alberta residents, 18 years old or older can pay to play.
*AGLC Policy: DRAW 6.1.4: Appreciation for previous support may be shown through early or advance advertising of the raffle to ticket purchasers of previous raffles.
*AGLC Policy: DRAW 6.1.3: Licensed charitable organizations must create an audiovisual recording of all raffle ticket draws with an approved total ticket value greater than $20,000 and must retain the recording with the raffle records for two years after the last draw date.
*AGLC Policy: DRAW 6.1.7: The draw may not be initiated by any person who owns a ticket or a share of a ticket in the draw.
**The Lethbridge College Wine Auction Raffle (AGLC-573416) is open to alumni, students, employees, and the community at large. Alberta residents, 18 years old or older can pay to play. The lucky winner will be announced after 10:30 a.m. on November 21st, 2021, on social media.
*Tickets for the Ready to Rise 50/50 Lottery will only be available online through Greater Giving.
*The winner will be selected by RNG (Random Number Generator) on November 19th, 2021, from all eligible tickets purchased. This selection method is certified by AGLC. The odds of winning are based on the number of unique entries. The names and photograph of the winner may be published on Lethbridge College's social media, website and around campus
